Storyboard Text

  • The French fought in a European style with guns. They fought in tight formations waiting for someone to give them commands.
  • FIRE!
  • Though they won the war, the British lost soldiers because of the use of guns. The soldiers had to take time to reload the guns with new ammunition while the enemy attacked them.
  • What the British wore while fighting played an important role in the war. They wore bright red coats which made them easy to see. As a result, the British were easy targets.
  • There they are!
  • The French used guerrilla tactics while the war was in place. This was an irregular form of warfare which didn't require many people.
  • The French relied on camouflage and used sneak attacks to surprise the enemies.
  • Since the French were trading partners with the Huron, a native American tribe, they made an alliance throughout the war which served as an advantage because they knew the land.
