Gilgamesh crossed the River of Death to reach Utnapishtim, seeking for help to finding immortality.
I'm here to explain my immortality story!
Oh Gilgamesh, not as easy as you thought...
Utnapishtim challenges Gilgamesh to stay awake for 10 days, and Gilgamesh sleeps within the first two hours of accepting the challenge.
Gilgamesh goes to the bottom of the ocean and finds the plant of immortality.
Haha! I found it, my key to immortality!
Now that Gilgamesh has gotten the flower of immortality, he is on his way back home to Uruk.
I can now live forever and be a great.
As Gilgamesh was relaxing, a serpent sneaks up on him, and takes the plant of immortality. Gilgamesh grows frustrated, and angered.
Gilgamesh returns home, and realizes he doesn't need to be immortal to be great, so he decides to change his character and become a great person. The serpent taking the flower was a blessing in disguise.
