Once upon a time, there was a king named Louis XVIII. King Louis called a meeting with the Estate Generals because of an emergency. He wanted the Estates to come up with a solution in order to aid France's economy. Most ideas that came from the three estates were about taxes.
My Loyal Subjects, I call you here today due to our economy crisis.
After the Estate Generals meeting, the National Assemblt was created. The assembly was made up of members from the Third Estate. As an effort to stop the National Assembly from doing their job, the First and Second Estates tried to sabotage the assembly by locking them out of their office. So the National Assembly decided to break into a tennis court and stay there until a new constitution was written. This was later named the "Tennis Court Oath".
We won't leave this place until a new constitution is written!
Then, during France's Constitutional Monarchy phase, nobles and clergy from the First and Second Estates became emigres. They fled France because of the September Massacres. These massacres were lead by sans-culottes, or common people. The common people had bloody riots because they were angry at the unjust treatment they got compared to the First and Second Estates.

After France's Constitutional Monarchy phase, terror spreaded all throughout France. Robespierre was the one that cause all this terror. It was because whoever seemed suspicious or he felt like was a traitor, he would order them to get executed. But although Robespierre did spread terror throughout France, he also formed the Committee of Public Safety which was created to defend France against foreign and domestic enemies.

Then, there was an emperor from 1804-1815, his name was Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon was a conqueror, he lead coup d'etats in order to conquer other nations. He had laws called the Napoleonic Code which granted all male citizens equal rights and he applied these codes to every nation he conquered. He also created lycees (schools) to help educate the people under his rule. But all of Napoleans greatness comes to a downfall when he lost the battle at Waterloo on June 18, 1815.
Finally, the Congress of Vienna was formed to in order to achieve peace between nations in Europe. The person that came up with this idea was Wenzel von Metternich. Metternich was an Austrian politician that had ideas on how to achieve peace throughout Europe. His first idea was, balance of power, this made it so all nations within Europe had equal power to each other, preventing future conquerors to try and take control over a nation or even multiple nations like Napoleon. Another idea he had was legitimacy, which restored the original monarchs that ruled each nation before Napoleon. All of Metternich's efforts made peace in Europe that lasted a century. The end.
"Let's create a congress for peace." -Metternich
