  • Climate change is a long-term change in weather patterns.
  • Different example of global climates are the Milankovitch cycles, ocean currents, and volcanoes.
  • How geologists find out about past climates is through air bubbles trapped inside ice cores determine what the atmosphere was like.
  • Milankovitch cycles make a slight shift in earths orbit that effect how much sunlight earth gets and changes the climate depending on the shift.
  • Volcanoes eruptions can cause the toxic gases and ash to prevent sunlight from reaching earth. Other effects are poisoned creatures, poisoned food supply, and air pollution.
  • Ocean currents can cause earths climate to change because depending on the temperature of the water that's coming.
