A queen wishes for a baby as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as the wood of the window frame. Her wish is granted and Snow White is born, but she dies. The King remarries, but she is a wicked queen.
The wicked queen discovers from her magic mirror that she is no longer the fairest of them all. She dispatches a huntsman to kill Snow White and bring back organs as proof.
The huntsman cannot bring himself to kill Snow White, so he frees her and fools the wicked queen with a boar's liver. Snow White runs through the forest and discovers the safety of the home of the Seven Dwarfs.
The Wicked Queen discovers that Snow White is still alive and tries three times to kill Snow White herself. She puts on a disguise and tricks Snow White into eating a poisoned apple.
The dwarfs cannot bear to bury Snow White, so they make a glass coffin. A prince finds her and when the coffin is moved, the poisoned apple comes out. Snow White is alive!
The prince and Snow White marry. The wicked queen is punished.
