Storyboard Text

  • When considering what exercises to do, a person should consider what they want from the workout. If you want to lose weight, then weightlifting would not be a good exercise to do. On the flip side, you should not do distance running if you want to gain muscle mass. It is also important to consider your body type when choosing a workout. The intensity of a workout will be different for someone that is obese than for someone that is slim. Always make sure to pick an exercise that will not put you in danger of physical injury.
  • Another thing to consider when choosing a workout is available equipment. This seems obvious, but it is an important factor of what workouts you can do. If you are interested in gaining muscle through lifting, but don't own extensive weight sets, then you should consider getting a gym membership, or choose to pursue a different physical goal. It is important to not pursue a fitness goal that will be a large financial strain. If you cannot afford any equipment, consider exercises that only require your body to do.
  • When it comes to working out, each person needs something different. What a person chooses to do in their workout should be decided while considering multiple different factors, such as that person's body type, what they want to get out of the workout, available equipment, and the surrounding climate. However, each person can achieve a level of fitness if they commit to the workout regimen that they decide on.
  • The last thing to consider when choosing your workouts is the weather. This is especially applicable in climates where weather extremes are common, whether heat, cold, or turbulent weather. In many cases it is possible to account for the weather by drinking more water in the case of heat, wearing thicker clothing in the case of cold, or wearing rain gear in the case of storms. However, in some instances, the weather extremes can be a potential danger to a person's health, and indoor exercises should be considered.
