In this comic strip, Stargirl is being told by the cheerleaders that they disapprove of her actions. The conflict is man versus man because the cheerleaders are going against what Stargirl does. This is not a man versus society conflict since not everyone disapproves of what she does. Only a certain amount does, and in this case, only the cheerleaders do. They tell Stargirl to “Stop what you’re doing. It’s embarrassing all of us,” in order to make sure that she doesn’t do it again. Hearing this makes Stargirl feel a little sad and rejected.
There are so many thing that can happen. Ugh. This makes my brain hurt.
Man, how am I supposed to decide?
Would they like her? Could she possibly earn much more fame? And for a good reason? Does she even care for that stuff?
I can't keep on saying "no" to Kevin. I mean, he really wants this to happen. But should I?
Will they be rude? Could they let her be one of them?
