- Mom I am having a really hard time with my math. addition is really hard
- well son thinkof something fun you enjoy doing.
- well, i love to play in the garden and play with my cars, but what does that have to do with math?
- Go change your clothes, maybe being outside in the garden will help you think of a way to make math easier for you
- MOM!! I have a grest idea. what if i count all of the veggies we pick to see how many we have in the end
- there seems to be lots of veggies that are ready to be harvested today

- i am so proud of you, you solved the problem all on your own
- I figured it out. while i was picking the veggies. I picked 3 apples, 2 radish and 1 celery. if i add them all together it will equal 6 veggies
- i can do it with anything, if i have 2 reds and 2 blue cars it equals 4cars.
