Hello. The sugar act happened in 1764. It was because George was increasing the revenue. The First act Parliament passed after the French and Indian War was the Sugar Act of 1764. It happened so that maybe people would stop smuggling sugar.
The township act happens 1947. It was put here for taxes and stuff. They did this for more money. People did not care but then later got angry. Because of this many repealed.
The stamp acts of 1765. It was used as a way to pay the French and Indian War. It made colonies give money to the British soldiers. The colonist stated dislike the presence of the British and feared the use of troops against themselves.
The quartering acts are when the colonist did not want to pay British soldiers. One of the people involved was king George the third. This happened in 1765. Then the colonist stated that they could not house these soilders and the law was dropped.
