Joseph is taken to Egypt and Potiphar who is one of the Pharaoh's officials buys him to work for the Pharaoh. Joseph worked and lived in the Pharaoh's house and worked his way up to be very important.
The dreams of the Baker and the Butler
Potiphar's wife takes a liking to Joseph and wants him to bed with her but he refuses and doesn't want to disobey his master. Potiphar's wife doesn't like this so she screams and calls the guards to say that Joseph is trying to attack her. For this he is sent to prison.
Whilst in prison the lord was with him and he granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. The warden put Joseph in charge of the prisoners.
When two of the Pharaoh's officials (the baker and the cupbearer) wronged him they were sent to prison and were assigned to Joseph. They told Joseph that they both had dreams and Joseph interpreted them. The Baker will die in three days and the Cupbearer will be released and while interpreting the cupbearers dream he told him to remember Joseph to the Pharaoh.
In three days you will be released to be executed.
