Boston Tea Party
The colonists were paying the tax collectors and the soldiers money for protection and the soldiers ended up not paying the colonists back so the colonists were frustrated and hurt. The soldiers ended up killing and injuring some people.
The colonists felt like they were being controlled, like they had no freedom. The British controlled what they did they couldn't pass the Appalachian Mountains.
The colonists tried to send tea overseas thinking they would not have to pay taxes. A man would not let the boat go until the tea on the boat is payed. So the colonists dressed up as natives and snuck on the boat and dumped 342 crates of tea into the ocean
