"One way ticket to your dreams" by Kenneth Pimentel
Video: "I was a registered nurse way back home. To be honest, at first I took nursing due to family pressure. Most of my family members were nurses- my aunt, my cousins, and even my mom. So I also need to become a nurse."
Text: When my grandfather was hospitalised, I was not sure how to make him feel better. Not until I saw an RN and took care of him. I was amazed how the RN made a coffee for him and sat for few minutes to know what is bothering him. She enlightened me that nursing is not just about earning money but it is about rendering your utmost care to your patients and their family.
Photos with captions: So I study hard, finished my degree in nursing and passed the registration in Phils. I worked as a clinical RN and as an Occupational Health Nurse.
Video: "So due to my passion in nursing and because of my dream to become globally competitive, I started studying here in UTS. So here I am, almost at the end of this course. And hoping to become the best nurse I can be."

Every patient has different needs. Holistic care is a MUST. Empathised not sympathised. If you love what you do and if it is your passion to take care of other people, do not hesitate and work on your dreams.
