Frederick Douglass was a African American social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman.
Thomas or Stonewall Jackson served as he Confederate general during the civil war and was shot down by his own men on accident but still led his troops very well.
On April 12th through April 13th 1861 the first battle of the civil battle took place took place at Fort Sumter. No lives were lost at the battle and this battle stared the start of the civil war.
