  • The First amendment gives the rights of free speech, assembly, petition, religion, and freedom of the press
  • I KNOW MY RIGHTS AND SHE CAN SAY THAT BECAUSE OF FREE SPEECH AND THE FIRST AMENDMENT
  • You Can't say that!
  • I don't like President Trump
  • The 5th Amendment states that you cannot be forced to testify against yourself.
  • I Plead the 5th!
  • So did you do it? You must tell me!
  • The  7th amendment says that if a civil case is over $20, it can be taken to court with a jury. Though now, the $20 would be worth about $575 today, the amendment stands.
  • I demand to take you to court! The jury will send you to jail!
  • Yes you can take me to court but there won't be a jury because these donuts are $19
  • The 9th amendment states that powers are reserved to the people
  • You can't do that! It's not in the Bill of Rights!
  • Yes I can! I have rights outside of the Bill of Rights!
  • The 10th amendment also gives the power to the states
  • The power is of the federal government! So this store is too.
  • No! The 10th amendment says that power is reserved to the states
