Script: The typewriter had a dramatic impact on communication. It made it easier for people, governments, and businesses to communicate. It also had a lasting change on the social system for women, because opening up job opportunities for women as secretaries. Another favorable attribute of the typewriter is that it made information more legible, rather than writing/ handwritten documents. One of the best things about the typewriter, is that it was able to transmit orders and information much quicker than handwriting information. It was for these reasons that the typewriter was an important invention.
