Hello I am Galileo Galilei I was born on February 15, 1564. I was known as the "father of science". I was also the father of three children who were all girls.
Sir Isaac Newton
Hello I am Sir Isaac Newton. I was born in January 4, 1643. Also did you know that I was knighted by the Queen Anne of England?
Hello my name is Francis Bacon I was born January 22, 1561. When I was only 12 years old I attended college at Cambridge. I have also had two wives and one daughter.
Hello I am Galileo. In my lifetime I have made many changes to modern day science. Such as supporting the heliocentric universe model, I also proved that objects will accelerate when falling, one more thing I stated was that physics applies to all planets.
Hello I am Copernicus. I was born in February 19, 1473. German was my first language but some people believe that I also spoke polish.
Hello I am Sir Isaac Newton. I have made many notable achievements in my lifetime. Such as stating that gravity existed, stating that two bodies are attracted together just because they have mass, and I also noticed that light is composed of all colors.
Hello my name is Francis Bacon. I haven't had as many achievements as everyone else but I have had one big achievement. I am the creator of the scientific method. That is asking a question, making a hypophysis, then going finding out the answer, and making a conclusion. I was also the face of natural philosophy.
The world today
Today we will be learning about ...
Hello I am Copernicus. I did not do much but I did something important. I was one of the first people to go against the church and say that the universe is heliocentric and not geocentric. Around 1514 I shared my findings in the Commentariolus.
The church was against science, because science went against the beliefs of the church. whenever someone went against the church bad things would happen to that person such as excommunication, torture, or house arrest.
These people have advanced our life in many ways. If it wasn't for many of these people we would have still believed in what the church was telling us to believe. We would most likely still believe that we live in a geocentric universe. We would not have the scientific method or all of the many things Galileo stated.
