3) I am who you are looking for, care to join us in our feast?
2) I demand to see the person in charge
1) I must test the superior knight to see if they are they say to be
5) If you come for a challenge you will get one
4) No I will not feast, I am here peacefully and offer a challenge towards your mighty knights for I heard stories about.
For I will take your challenge since I am a loyal knight to my lord
During a feast at the table of Arthur's during New Years Eve, a green knight appears out of the blue. He is on a quest to take on the superior knights of Arthur. He heard stories of how superior they are, so he wanted to put that for a test.
today you will strike at me and then in a year and a day, you will find me & I will strike at you
The green knight is there with peace beacuse he is on a quest to take on the superior knights of Arthur. He heard stories of how superior they are, so he wanted to put that for a challenge.
The knight in the shinny armor, Gawain, volunteers to take on the challenge of the green knight since his life would be less missed if anything were to happen to him. The king agrees so the green knight proceeds with the terms.
Come and find me in a year and a day, we will finish the challenge. haha *disappears*
As confusing as this sounds, the green knight had a well indeed plan for Gawain. Little did Gawain know, the green knight had something store for him.
Once Gawain chopped the green knight's head off, everyone in the room was just frighten because suddenly he was just talking which showed his supernatural ablities.
Disappearing again out of thin air, Sir Gawain asked the green knight where can he find him & that's what the green knight was having him in store, a quest. The green knight said to come find him in a year and a day. Which seems to satistfied him since he was making it questionable.
