First, of all the food that enters the mouth and then gets chewed into a bolus chunk and then goes down into the esophagus then into the stomach.
The stomach which is pointed to and is in red is where the first part of the digestion. In the stomach the bolus gets bashed around in the stomach walls and then acid comes in through the stomach walls. after the bolus is dissolved it is now chyme.
The gallbladder is where bile is released which combines with dissolved food which when combined is called chyme. Then the chyme goes into the small intestines.
The Chyme enters the small intestines and the nutrients are absorbed into the villies. Once these nutrients are absorbed they move to the large intestines where the water and chloride is absorbed. Once this happens it sends to the rectum and is called stool. Then the rectum contracts and the feces leaves the anus.
