Lady Macbeth is planning to have Macbeth kill the king while he sleeps and blame it on the servants.

In act 1, Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth he needs to kill the king though letter. Then in act 2, they discuss their plans of how and when they're going to kill the king at the banquet. Then later that night Macbeth does his horrible deed by killing King Duncan that night.

macbeth was a kind and loyal man to his king and others but his ambition to be king will lead him to his own destruction because it's becoming more easier for him to kill people.
