Storyboard Text

  • Character Flaw
  • Pride
  • Wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied. Act 2 scene 2  line 125
  • Reversal of Fortune
  • The reason that I have to love thee Act 3 scene1 line 57
  • Boy this shall not excuse the injuries Act 3 scene 1 line 61
  • The trait that Romeo has that is his downfall is that he is impulsive he doesn't think before he acts. For example in the play he doesn't even think about his own death when Juliet died he just wanted to join her right away and didn't care what would happen to everyone else so the trait that lead to his downfall was that he is impulsive.
  • Moment of Critical Discovery
  • For here lies Juliet her Beauty makes this vault filled with light Act 5 scene 2 lines 85-86
  • Romeo showed a lot of pride in himself won he won Juliet's heart. In the play he brags that he has won Juliet's heart and this shows that he doesn't care what happens to him next. So he is very prideful. and also he in my personal opinion h also doesn't have that much pride
  • Fate Worse than he Deserves
  • Thy drugs are quick Act 5 scene 2 line 20
  • The event that changed Romeo's life was when he killed Tybalt. After that he was banded from the city and could never return again because if he did he did he would be killed which caused him not to be with his Juliet and it also caused her to be forced to marry Count Paris and then he thought Juliet died so that's why it was that moment that changed his fortune.
  • Pity for Tragic Hero
  • Never was a tale more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo. Act 5 scene 3 Lines 309-310
  • I think that the moment Romeo had Critical Discovery was when he found out that Juliet was dead. Then he saw because of his impulsive personality it was because of him Juliet was dead so he killed himself thinking that it was his fault.
  •  The Fate worse than death was when he killed himself and because of this he can't say goodbye to his family and it also shows that he could have kept himself alive and be with his Juliet.
  • The way people responded to Romeo's death well they were surprised that Juliet and Romeo were Dating so this caused a lot of people to realize that the feud was finally over. so I think that was there only pity for him.
