  • In Act 5 Scene 1, Lady Macbeth is starting to feel guilty after the killing. Lady Macbeth starts sleep walking and  starts wiping off the blood off of her hands in the dream.

  • The theme ' insanity is the result of guilty conscience' developed more in act 5 scene 1 with Lady Macbeth when she starts to 'sleep walking' and starts talking about the killing that Macbeth was involved .

  • As the doctor is going to bed the doctor says a line from Act 5 scene 1 lines 65-67, what the doctor is saying is that make sure Lady Macbeth gets a good night sleep, and that don't keep eyes on her. 
  • In line 8 in Act 5 scene 1, the tone starts to developed.  The meaning in that line is that acting awake while you are sleeping. When lady Macbeth was sleeping she was panicky and being anxious because of what happened with Macbeth.
