  • Romeo and Juliet fall in love; however, Romeo's family is opposed to Juliet's family. If someone found out, terrible things would happen. Romeo's star crossed love is his flaw.
  • Moment of Critical Discovery
  • Juliet is dead. (5.1.17-23)
  • Romeo's pride is shown when he is married to Juliet. This shows he is quick to make decisions and doesn't understand he consequences. 
  • Fate Worse than he Deserves
  •  Friar Laurence gives Juliet  a potion that will make her appear dead so that she will not have to marry Paris.

  • After Romeo purchases poison, he goes to Juliet's tomb to take his life. Romeo kills Paris who was in the tomb at the time and takes the poison.

  • Juliet awakes and find Romeo dead. She uses his dagger to take her life. The Capulets and Montagues decide to be peaceful again so that something like this will never happen again.
