  • "It is concluded. Banquo, thy soul's flight, if it find heaven, must find it out tonight."

  • O, full of scorpions is my mind, dear wife!"
  • This scene is after the murder of Banquo. Macbeth is telling Lady Macbeth that it is all over and they don't have to worry about Banquo anymore because he is dead. 
  • RL.4 Analyze the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including figurative, connotative, and technical meanings.
  • The theme of the text is ambition because in this quote by Macbeth, "With barefaced power, sweep him from my sight.", he uses the words "barefaced power". Macbeth uses these words because it shows how passionate he is about killing Banquo.

  • Macbeth is a ambitious and violent person. First killing King Duncan and now killing Banquo. This tells us that Macbeth has a bad heart due to his actions to other people.

  • "We shall, my Lord, perform what you command us."
  • This is the scene where Macbeth sees the ghost of Banquo at the banquet and is frightened.
  • Banquo?!?!
  • This is the scene where the Macbeth's are at the Banquet and Lady Macbeth sits by herself on the thrown while everyone else sits and wonders where Banquo is while eating at the table.
  • "Our hostess keeps her state"
  • This scene is were the three murderers are committing to what Macbeth planned for them to do. The plan is to kill Banquo. The quote I used are the exact words the murderers said to Macbeth when accepting his challenge.
