Ghandi's passive resistance
The Indian National Congress is a political party in India with widespread roots, founded in 1885.
It took place on April 13, 1919, Bridadier- General Reginald dyer ordered British troops to shoot five rifles at unarmed Indian civilians.
India Gains Independance
Gandhi introduced "Satyagraha" which means passive resistance. Satya means truth, and agraha means insistence. Satyagraha is more of an idea of practicing non-violence.
The salt march was an act of non-violence civil disobedience in colonial India led by Gandhi.
On Aug. 15, 1947 Jawaharlal Nehru gave Independence to India and became the first prime minister of India.
