Long Live Chairman Mao!!!!!!
i an the happiest person alive, he is looking straight at me!!!!
Don't disrespect a Red Guard!!!!
In the begging of the story Ji-li heard that Chiarman Mao was going to be at the Tienanmen Square, and even though her mom was sick, and was needed at home. She thought that the revolution was more important than personal matters, so she packed her bedroll and went to see Chairman Mao without telling anyone.
In the middle of the story ji-li got on the train and had to sit there, and sleep under the seats but she thought that getting good conditions is good for revolutionaries. When she got there(Tienanmen Square) the place was crowded with comrades, Ji-li could hardly sleep, and wasnt even hungry. After waiting and waiting Chairman Mao finally came up on top of the gate and was waving at the people, He looked straight at Ji-li and she was crying.
In the end Ji-li went back home and saw that red guards asking to borrow Old Qian's bike and Old Qian refused to let them borrow it. The red guards were shocked and kneed him and pushed him down, then the red guards went to his home and took everything from him, after the red guard took everything away from Old Qian his wife tried to give him a sip of water but a red guard kicked it out of her hand. Ji-li then went inside and felt sick.
