Macbeth Act 1 is about the beginning of Macbeth's role of king after the king is mysteriously murdered. Scene 1 starts off with the three witches meeting and plotting about Macbeth's future. Scene 2 and 3 is about his beginning reign of king and avoiding suspicion of being the murderer of king Duncan. scene 4 and 5 is about the execution of the "murderer" and lady Macbeth coaching Macbeth into what to do next lastly scene 6 and 7. The Castle has a party and later Macbeth and lady Macbeth meet in secret about there next move and she expresses fear if they fail.
You can see that power can corrupt a person to the point they kill someone. As soon as Macbeth finds out about him becoming king next he murders a friend and frames a innocent man.
Macbeth starts out pretty sane in the beginning but slowly loses sanity because of power and the witches giving prophecy to him making him scared of the future
He does unspeakable things such as murdering friends, framing people and even murdering innocent children who are the threat to his crown and power and all just because his wife and some witches tell him to do it.
The tone of this story is a really twisted and dark atmosphere full of deceit, lies and murder and is just a long tunnel of despair with no good ending for anyone and almost any character in the end lost people they loved dearly. I did quite enjoy this story and found the witches humorous.
