What if I don't go than what? You won't be considered cool. You'll just be a baby

I could bring a friend with me to make sure nothing happens, I could stay here, or I could just go home
Randy and Benny are friends who we're talking about going to a skate park, after school with friends Randy made there. As they were talking about meeting after school, Randy mentions that these friends are older than than the both of them. (Friends: 16 and 17) Benny is hesitant because theses friends are older and he doesn't want to get into trouble, but Randy INSISTS it'll be fun. Both boys decide that it sounds like fun and will meet after the last bell.
Consider religious values, morals, ethics
I'm hesitant on telling my mom because I don't want her to think that I hangout with the wrong group of people, but she could really help me make the right decision
Benny can avoid trouble if he convinces Randy not to go. Benny can go straight home. He can go somewhere else to hangout. He can have someone join Randy and him to make sure no trouble happens.
MAKE THE DECISION
It's not for everyone, I get it. I'll see you tomorrow
Look Randy, I don't feel comfortable hanging out with older kids. I don't wanna do anything bad that could get me into trouble
If Benny goes he could be intoxicated and get in trouble at home.H (Healthy) It is NOT healthy to have intoxicants in your body.E (Ethical) It is NOT safe for him to have intoxicants because he won't be thinking straight.L (Legal) It is ILLEGAL to take intoxicants.P (Parent approval) Benny's parents wouldn't approve him taking intoxicants
Evaluate and Reflect
It is against Benny's moms morals to hang around people who don't benefit them. Benny knows better than too go with older people who don't have his best interest
Benny sticks with his gut and decides to communicate with Randy, hoping he'll be understanding, and chooses not to go with the older friends. Instead Randy chooses to give Benny a cold shoulder and goes with the older friends
Benny is a little disappointed in Randy for making his decision, but Benny would rather be at home than hanging out with older people who influence things that have no benefit to Benny.
