Storyboard Text

  • I cant figure out what the size of my wallpaper needs to be to decorate this locker!
  • You can use the Pythagorean theorem to figure it out!
  • I want to cover half the locker, but I want it in a triangle shape.
  • The Pythagorean theorem is when you take a right triangle and use a^2 + b^2 = c^2.
  • So you would need to cut a triangle this size.
  • Well the base width is 10cm squared(100) and the height is 70cm squared (4900), so you add those and square it all together to get 70.71cm
  • How big wold I need to cut it?
