For our library project we were supposed to tell our FAVORITE story, but we couldn't agree on one, so we just made one up. I'll begin the story.
My beginning is better, but go ahead.
What? Call him Ralph or something!
I miss my ponies! Someone must protect Buttercup!
*sigh* Get a grip, princess.
Charlene Co and Matthew Chen are telling the story of Once Upon A Cool Motorcycle Dude for "The Bristlecone Storytelling Festival."
This will make a yummy pony stew!
That's it! I'm telling the story from here!
Once Upon a time in a castle on a hill, there was a beautiful princess called Princess Tenderheart. Every day, she went out to play with her eight beautiful ponies. She called them Jasmine, Nimble, Sophie, Penny, Polly, Sunny, and Monica, but her favorite pony of all was called Buttercup.
One night, a terrible thing happened. A giant came and stole Nimble and Sophie. Princess Tenderheart cried so hard that she refused to eat. Soon, the giant took all of the ponies and only Buttercup remained. Princess Tenderheart cried and turned straw into gold thread.
A cool motorcycle dude comes to rescue the ponies after they have been captured. The giant is big, scary, mean, has three yellow teeth, AND smells like moldy rotten stinky wet feet! There are earthquakes and volcanoes everywhere! The cool motorcycle dude wins the battle, and the king gives him all of the gold thread that the princess makes. He becomes really, really rich.
As if. He's not even cute or anything.
That's not how the story goes! Fine. The dude makes an invisible blanket out of the gold thread and sneaks off to find the giant The princess comes with him. Ugh. Fine! The princess distracts the giant... ...and the motorcycle dude pushes him off of a cliff!
Then the princess and prince fall in love! Prince? Who said he was a prince! They get married on a beautiful spring morning and have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl! The end!
