  • Start of Zenger Trial.
  • When Andrew Hamilton comes.
  • Hamilton tries to convince the Judge Zenger is not guilty
  • Zenger is sent to trial for seditious libel. He is trying to prove that what he wrote was factual.  
  • Hamilton talks to the jury
  • Andrew Hamilton comes out of the crowd and says that he will be defending John Peter Zenger.
  • The Jury says that Zenger is not guilty
  • Not Guilty
  • Hamilton is talking to Judge to convince him that Zenger is not guilty. Hamilton is not able to convince the judge.
  • After not changing the Judge's mind Hamilton tries to convince the Jury that Zenger isn't guilty.
  • The Jury said Zenger was not guilty. Zenger was able to leave as a free man.
