- Establishing Shot. Panning Shot. The African American man is looking at the lady . Close up at his face- Frame for emotion- sad look in his eyes. Diegetic sound- Waves
- Part 1 complete. Part two in play.
- High Angle Shot- of the dead body. Diegetic sound- of the crow caw and the waves splashing onto the beach. Dissolves into the next scene. Point of view- black man looking at the dead body. The is resting on the boulder above the dead body. MacGuffin- The star
- Dissolves in from the last scene. Looks through the window- voyeurism. Diegetic sound- telephone ringing. Shadow paces back and forth between the two windows.
- MacGuffin- extreme close up of a Star. Cinematic dialogue- talking on the telephone(No diegetic sounds of the man talking from the other side). Low angle shot of him talking on the phone. Drinking a glass of brandy. Diegetic sounds of the seat squeaking.
- Diegetic Sound- a gunshot. Point of view- instant cutting shots between the gun and the dead body but the woman's face is completely black.
- Non-Diegetic- suspenseful music. High angle shot- of the train entering the train station. Tracking shot- of the twin sister walking in the train. Diegetic sound- the train is tooting. Hitchcock Cameo- pale person with a grey shirt and blue pants. The twin sister is holding the star when she walks into the train(MacGuffin). Pleonastic music- suspenseful and dramatic.
