Colony from August to October
THIS IS GREAT!!
After John White leaves...
IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO MOVE HERE
On April 26, 1585 the colonists set sail from Portsmouth. 117 people set sail with John White in the beginning. They wanted to start a colony near Chesapeake bay.
Soon after Elinore gave birth to a baby named Virginia, the first child born in North America. Life was going good until John White left the colony.
I believe that the colonist moved over to Croatoan. People found many supplies over there which they could have brought. Also, they found CRO carved on a tree. CRO could be an abbreviation for Croatoan island. Therefor it is very likely hat the colonists went there.
