In the exposition of the story, Victor questions his professor about stopping/reversing death. His professor warns him of the danger of trying to reverse death. Then, he built a human body from random parts, and he thought he would come back like a regular person, and be like "Woahhh, I'm alive again?!" but he came back illiterate and dumb. The impact this event has on the story is it literally made the story what it is.
FALLING ACTION
Victor Frankenstein rejected the monster, but since the creation is still human, he got angry and went on a rampage. The effect this has on the story is this shows who he's going to be in the story.
RESOLUTION
The monster asked Victor to build him a friend but Victor refused so the monster ran off into the woods. The effect this has on the story is if Victor accepted what the creation proposed, then no more deaths would have happened.
Bye
After the creature ran away Victor followed him, for ages he ran after it, and when he was close, he fainted. The effect that this has on the story is that If Victor did not try to follow the monster then the monster would just be anywhere in the world he could not guess.
Victor was found by a captain of the sea and he took him onto his boat to rest. Victor was delirious so he didn't quite know what was going on. The creation found Victor and the captain and tried to apologize. The creation could now speak English and told the captain to tell Victor that he was sorry and he shall not harm another soul. The effect this has on the story is, 1) if the captain did not take him in then Victor would have died of frostbite. And 2) If the monster did not apologize then he would still be out murdering and killing everyone.
