  • I want to be a baker
  • Smart Sally had a good idea. She wanted to open a sweet store and become an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is a person who starts a business.
  • First Sally finds a store front to sell her sweets from. To use the space she has to pay rent every month to the landlord.
  • Where is everyone?
  • Open!!!
  • Then she buys what she needs to make her sweets. Like bowls, an oven, Sugar, and milk. These are called capital goods.
  • Free Sweets!!
  • Next Sally finds other people who like to cook and hires them. What she pays them is called a salary.
  • However, business is slow at first and no one comes to her grand opening. Mostly because no one knows about Sally's sweet shop.
  • But, Sally has a plan. She gives out free sweets to let everyone know about her sweets. By doing this she has increased her population size. Meaning she will be able to sell more
