  • Mr. Maloney has just came home from work and Mrs maloney is greeting him because that is the role of the 1950's and many women had to greet their husband and get them and always act nice.

  • Mr. maloney is leaving Mrs. maloney is sad because she does not want him to leave her.
  • Mr.maloney is leavig her and she is sad because she doesnt want him to leave
  • "im leaving you i dont want to be with you" (line 34)
  • mrs. maloney is thinking something is up but doesnt know what it is, she does not want to say anything because most women were not allowed to question or complain.

  • Mrs. Maloney hit her husband on the back of his head as hard as she could.
  • Mr. maloney is getting himself a drink because he usually comes home and gets a drink but Mrs maloney usually gets it for him, after a long day of work and she knows something is up but asks him and he does not asnwer.

  • Mr. Maloney is leaving her and she is sad because she doesn't want him to leave and wants to feed him first as the wife does in the 1950's and this is affects on others because she is crying because she is sad that he is leaving her to be with another women .
  • At that point, Mary Maloney simply walked up behind him and without any pause she swung the big frozen leg of lamb high in the air and brought it down as hard as she could on the back of his head.
