Storyboard Text

  • It sounds like the grammar crime took place around the corner!
  • That was me.
  • Which one of you was talking about a violin?
  • Yes.
  • Are you aware that "I picked up the violin," and "It was surprisingly light," are two independent clauses.
  • Well I...
  • Then, why didn't you use a comma when combining them with a FANBOYS word?
  • Whenever you want to combine 2 independent clauses, you can use a comma and a fanboys word. Since both of the clause can stand as a sentence alone, you NEED that comma.
  • I didn't know that!
  • I have a feeling there will be one more grammar crime tonight. Good bye.
