You know there may be things and people that believe in equal rights like the Freedmen's Bureau, the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendment but I will never think of you as equal.
I am a freedman. I can sit were I want. You don't control me.

Whatever! You just wait for when the KKK comes for you.
I am Tim a freedman. Here there are the Jim Crow Laws in action. Tim the African american is being rejected to go into a building. This is a part of segregation. Blacks and whites are being separated.
Tim is now stand up for himself. The 14th amendment allows him to be a citizen. He should be allowed to sit on a bench. The white man is being radical because he is making a big deal for Tim sitting on a bench.
Tim called his friends over to help him stand up. The white man threatened him with the KKK. The KKK is the Ku Klux Klan. The KKK could be considered as slugs because they didn't like blacks becoming equal.
