  • Ebenezer Scrooge is a cruel man who only cares about money. He is exceedingly rude to others, even those in need of help.
  • Climax
  • I see now that I can not go on like this.
  • Scrooge is confronted by the ghost of his business partner, Jacob Marley. Marley informs him that he will be visited by three spirits.
  • Falling Action
  • But I've been cruel for so long. Where do I start?
  • The three spirits each show Scrooge scenes from his past, present, and future. They are trying to assist him in becoming a better person.
  • Resolution
  • Merry Christmas! How about a raise, my dude? Also, I will help Tiny Tim.
  • The third spirit presents to Scrooge what his fate will be if he fails to improve himself. In the future, Scrooge dies and is missed by no one.
  • Ebenezer Scrooge
  • Scrooge decides that he should become a better person. He finally sees his flaws and thinks of how to fix them.
  • Scrooge succeeds in becoming a kind, generous person. He celebrates and honors the important tradition of Christmas.
