Storyboard Text

  • Romeo Climbs into the Capulet orchard after the party, seeking Juliet. Juliet is upset as her love is also her family's sworn enemy. "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?"
  • The Day after the party, Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence, with the request that he marries him and Juliet. "I pray, that thou consent to marry us today." Friar Lawrence agrees, hoping that it will unite the families, and in doing so end the violence.
  • Juliet sends her nurse to make sure that Romeo still loves him. He confirms that he does, and sends a message back to Juliet, telling her to meet him at Friar Lawrence's Church later in the day.
  • Juliet's nurse does not tell her the message quickly - instead she drags it out for ages.  Juliet finally gets it out of her and goes to meet Romeo.
  • Romeo taunts death, and in doing so for-shadows the future. "Then let love-devouring death do what he do."
