  • Shays´ Rebellion ¨The Regulators´ fight¨ Fall 1876
  • 8 yrs after the war this new country  is mostly tapped out of money.
  • The  men that fought in the revolution were promised money/pay but the government was in debt and couldn´t pay.
  • Massachussetts want to pay auctioning land
  • That´s a deal
  • The debt was still hanging over farmers´ head even if they fought they still could have  had their farms tooken and imprisoned. Some fought back like Daniel Shays that led a reballion.
  • The crowd of the people rebaling is to block people from the court so trials couldn go on.
  • Two years after Daniel Shays got a pardon and lived in Massechussetts in poverty till he died at the age of 78 years. But many weren´t as blessed and were exicuted.
