This storyboard does not have a description.
Where are my servants I need them now to look at my beautiful dress
I will be the leader of the house
Here take this so you look like a worker
Esperanza where are you
gracias thank you so much for your help
At the beginning of the book we can describe Esperanza as a very selfish person. According to the book it says, " Because she couldn't imagine living anywhere else than El Rancho de las Rosas. Or with any fewer servants. Or without being surrounded by the people who adored her." ( Munoz Rayan page 8). This quote supports that she is selfish because she wants everything to be about her. This also explains that she always wants attention and for it to stay that way.
In the beginning of the book we could describe Esperanza as selfish and spoiled but now she has changed and we can now call her responsible. For example in the story it says, "Don't worry. I will take care of everything. I will be la patrona for the house now."(Munoz Rayan page178). This shows that when Esperanza's mom was very sick she decided to step up and become the mom of the house for her mom. This supports the idea that Esperanza is responsible now because she is helping her mom while she is sick.
In the middle of the story we could call Esperanza responsible but, now we can call her caring and kind. For example in the book it says, " When you leave, put on the apron and carrot he asparagus so you look like a worker, just in case anyone stops you." "Gracias" whispered Marta". (Munoz Rayan Page 209). This quote explains that even when Marta was being rude to Esperanza she still decided to help her out. This supports the idea that she is caring and kind because even though Marta was being not nice she still decided to help her .
