  • John Adams believed everyone  is equal, after the Boston Massacre five men were killed and because of John Adams none of the soldiers went to jail.
  • July 4th 1776
  • the Continental Congress declared that the american colonies were no longer apart of great Britain .John Adams Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were apart of the writing of the Declaration of Independence in order to make this action happen.
  • John Adams signed the treaty of Paris with Benjamin Franklin and John Jay ending the revolutionary war. Two years before the treaty in Yorktown Virginia a general from Britain was surrounded and forced to surrender.
