  • Title
  • Survivors by, Erin Hunter. The Empty City (Third Person Limited)
  • Exposition
  • Old Hunter: Hey! Over here. I am stuck, if you can get this electrical wire off of me, I will reward you with meat.
  • Sure! I will help. Only if you give me that food.
  • Rising Action
  • Okay okay, dont bite me.
  • Give us food. Or we feed you to our young.
  • Bruno: Who are you? F-f-foxes?
  • Bella: Lucky, is that really you?
  • Third Person Limite
  • Conflict
  • Somebody help, I am drowning
  • I agree
  • Lucky wandered around the city after the earthquake. He encountered dangers at every turn. The next corner made Lucky spring in the air. There is another dog crying for help! The other dog said his name was Old Hunter and he needs help to get out of the electrical wires. Old Hunter pleaded and compromised to give Lucky meat if he can save him from this tragedy. Afterward, Lucky was shocked and has a rich scent floating through his nasal passages.
  • Falling Action
  • I am ready to eat
  • Lucky turned the corner and was surprised by four foxes! The foxes then growled and pressured Lucky into the corner of the ally. Lucky wonders why the foxes voices were broken and snarl. In the dim sunlight, Lucky sees another pack of dogs. The other dogs were barking towards me. But, Lucky pondered, who were the other dogs barking at? Lucky was scared until he saw Bella, his sister.
  • Resolution
  • Lucky left the city with the pack. He was the first to see the river, and was eager to finally get a drink of fresh water. Luckys stomach grumbled and he felt light as air. Lucky and Bella were first to get a drink of water and then trotted off to look for a good place to hunt. Lucky sees Bella swivel her head back to the river, and he does the same. He first saw Bruno swaying up and down in the river's current, then Martha yapping for help.
  • Over here. We need your help Lucky!
  • More east seems like a better hunting spot.
  • Lucky ran back, and leaped into the river.  He began following Martha and went to the other side of Bruno to help carry him to shore.
  • I got Bruno
  • We can bring Bruno back to shore then hunt if we have time.
  • It was dawn, Lucky rose from the sleeping grounds. Lucky caught a rabbit. But, he saw Bruno wondering off in the distance east. When the pack met up to share the rabbit, Lucky noticed a bird leg hanging from Bruno's mouth.
  • Lucky, corning the rabbit from the front
