- Why don't you make a date with your mother for lunch and call me back to tell me if it worked out.
- I can't ask mom. If I ask her I'll feel so guilty.
- Today was a terrible day thank heavens you've got it all together Amanda!
- I tried to ask my mom but it didn't work out because I would've felt so guilty if I asked her.
- Amanda is my daughter, and it seems we have some things to talk about, so what I'm going to do is ask my assistant to make a reservation for lunch at the Terrace Garden. If you hurry, Amanda, I'll meet you at 1:30. So we can talk.
