Some men even gave help and said that things should change around here. This is when a lot of people came together to help convince the Congress to give women the right to vote.
  • Dust Bowl
  • Jessica: Black Tuesday was when the stock market completely crashed and the prices collapsed. Everyone at the time was very into stocks as they would spend tons of money on it. When the stock market collapsed everyone lost their money. This is when they started selling things for a big price because they needed the cash.

During the 1920s when a large number of depositors start fearing that their bank will be unable to repay their deposits in full and on time, they try to withdraw their funds immediately. When a run comes, a bank must quickly increase its cash to meet depositors' demands.
  • Jessica: The Dust Bowl was a period of severe dust storms that greatly damaged the ecology and agriculture of the American and Canadian prairies during the 1900s. The warm weather of the early 1930s coupled with the lack of rainfall eliminated many of the natural conditions that killed young rabbits.
