Siddhartha Gautama, a Hindu prince of Nepal was born in 563 B.C. Siddhartha's father meets a fortune teller who predicts that Siddhartha will be a King or a religious leader. Of course, his father wants Siddhartha to be a king.

Siddartha was raised in a life full of luxury without experiencing any pain or sadness . When he was out he had guards to make sure there weren't any poor or sick people in the streets and at a young age Siddartha was married and had a son.

One day Siddhartha rod out of the palace by himself without any guards. While out he saw a mean leaning over a stick, and man shrunken by disease, a dead man, and lastly a homeless man who was happy, After everything he saw he new his life was a lie so he ran away.

After Siddhartha ran away he was living of off food from strangers. He lives in trees and caves for shelter. After awhile he started to study with Hindu gurus. But Siddhartha was not satisfied with the salvation from the endless cycle.
Siddhartha then went to live with religious ascetics. But he realized what he was doing was bad for himself. So he left to live with a milkmaid while the ascetics abandoned him.
Siddhartha then went by himself and sat under a tree and meditated for 49 days. Soon after a god named Mara, the god of desire and death came and tried to get him to give up. When Siddhartha refused the god punished him with rain. During meditation Siddhartha said he saw his past lives. He entered Enlightenment.
