- Romeo is a young man, very attractive, dramatic, strong, and brave.
- Tybalt
- 'Uncle there is a Montague - our enemy!" Page-45
- Juliet is a very young, she is a Capulet, and she loves Romeo even though he is a Montague.
- Mercutio
- "A challenge, I'll be bound!" Act two-Scene 4
- Benvolio tries to make peace between the Montague and Capulet. He is also Romeo's cousin.
- Nurse
- Tybalt is a Capulet and he is very dangerous. He is very skilled with swords and knows how to use one.
- Mercutio is not a Capulet or a Montague but he is a close friend of Romeo and is a relative to Prince Escalus.
- The Nurse is Juliet Capulet's second mother and she was there for Juliet since Juliet has been borned. The nurse also helps Juliet and Romeo by being Juliet's messenger.
