  • Potential energy is stored energy or energy of position. Kinetic energy is energy of motion.
  • The batter used force to hit the ball. Force is a push or a pull that can move an object.
  • The energy from the sun provides heat and light transmitted by electromagnetic waves. This is called radiant energy. The sun also gives off heat and the molecules in the sun move so fast creating friction and giving off heat. This is known as thermal/heat energy.
