  • In April of 1775, British troops were stationed in Boston preparing to seize arms from the colonists.
  • Dr. Joseph Warren organized a plan of action to take if the British began advancing on the colonists.
  • Alright gentlemen, it´s time. Godspeed!
  • The men arranged a lantern system to show whether the British were coming by land or by sea.
  • On April 18th, 1775 the British began to move towards Lexington by the Charles river ("by sea").
