Caesar and Brutus were both ambitious but is different ways. Brutus tragic flaw was his need to be noble and Caesar was his ego. The societal ill in Julius Caesar was personal ambition v. democratic governance. The need for change is when Brutus changes his mind about Caesar's death. At first Brutus was all for thinking Caesar's death was for saving Rome from a tyrant, but later thinks otherwise.
A crowed celebrating Caesar's victory against Pompey while others chastise them.

Beware the Ides of March!

We can't let Caesar become king, we must stop him.
But, he shall bleed for it.
But Caesar is my dear friend...
Only for the sake of Rome.
Whats on your mind?

Nothing. Don't worry about it, I'm fine.
No, I'm going to the capital and I didn't want you to stop me.
We are gathered here today for the death of Caesar.
